With our barrier-free infrastructure and our committed employees, we want to ensure that everyone can enjoy unforgettable experiences on the Arber to the fullest. Come and discover a world of accessibility and beauty – we look forward to offering you unforgettable moments. Our goal is to enable people with physical limitations or disabilities to have an unforgettable experience of nature. That’s why we designed our infrastructure to be easily accessible for wheelchair users and other people with mobility problems. Our paths are wide enough for wheelchairs and walking aids and the gondola lift on the mountain can also be used by all guests without any problems.
A barrier-free ride to the summit
One of the most important components of our barrier-free infrastructure is our gondola lift. We want to make sure that everyone has the opportunity to reach the mountain station and enjoy the spectacular panorama. Our dedicated staff are on hand to assist wheelchair users with boarding and disembarking. They stop the gondola so that each guest can easily board the train.
The panoramic lift and the low-barrier Eisensteiner Hütte at the mountain station
Another highlight of our accessibility awaits you at the mountain station – the panoramic elevator. It enables easy access to the barrier-free Eisensteiner Hütte. You can enjoy the wonderful view and let our friendly staff and our Bavarian cuisine spoil you.
Barrier-free Arberseehaus - An alternative for unforgettable moments
In addition to the mountain adventure, we also offer a barrier-free alternative – the Arberseehaus on the Großer Arbersee. Here you can relax in a hospitable environment and enjoy the view of the picturesque lake. The Arberseehaus is specially designed for guests who are looking for barrier-free access and comfort without having to forego the natural beauty of the Arber.
Discover the low-barrier circular hiking trail on the Großer Arbersee
In order to explore the entire beauty of the Arber area, we have created a low-barrier circular hiking trail. This allows all guests to fully experience nature and admire the majestic surroundings of the mountain. The trail is designed to be more easily accessible for wheelchair users (with companions) and people with reduced mobility.
